Railay, Krabi

So while in Phuket we took a couple of trips to nearby attractions- the first was to Railay, Krabi. We went with a girl who is part of the team in Phuket. We grabbed a bus, then a sangtaeow, and finally a boat.

The area is absolutely beautiful!! It is a rock climbing mecca, with cliffs towering above the sea. We stayed for a night- and this is where the blondeness comes in- rose early for some deep sea soloing, which involves kayaking to cliffs that you boulder along-no ropes necessary- if you fall you fall into the safety of the ocean- that is if you aren't blonde and you go climbing when the tide is in. We were blonde. Still, we had a great time kayaking about, snorkelling and enjoying the view area. And we managed to find some places where it was still safe to climb.
