Cooking 101

Here are some pics from cooking in Thailand- we were given a private lesson by some friends- fortunately they weren't able to taste my attempt at Thai food stateside- definitely woulda failed.

Before starting our "class" we had to grab the necessary ingredients- such as scooping ground pork from a giant vat.

This part of the prep was hilarious, all our teachers wanted the opportunity to instruct us in English- talk about too many hens in the kitchen- and to top it off they were all sisters :)

I look so nervous- was really worried I would screw it up and have to eat it :)

And yes, it was fanatastic tasting!
